Kyle Rutledge is an athletic trainer working in a role that cares for both high school and junior high school athletes. Kyle has had a unique journey to get to where he is currently and has experienced some unique settings. Kyle discusses working in a chiropractic office and doing outreach at the same time and how that increased his knowledge and ability when it comes to rehabilitation.
We also talked about education and how that can affect an athletic trainers career. Kyle had a unique route to do his first master’s degree and then after completing that journey decided to embark on another one. It can be difficult to go back for an extra degree but we talk about how it is possible and how it can help move your career forward and set you up for potential emerging opportunities.
This is a great episode that is well worth checking out. Enjoy.
