Ep. 26: A DIII Experience

There are becoming an endless variety of settings for athletic trainers to work in. Coming up in a lot of young careers are the idea of working in Division I and the professional ranks. These goals are not bad in any regard but they may not always be what they think and there can be a misconception of working at other places that could provide just as unique and rewarding experiences.

In this short episode we talk about the Division III experience and how it has been going for Austin who is just finishing up a semester long immersion and Joel, who has been in this setting for the past 6 years. We talk about the ups and the down and why Joel has been here after being Division I for a time and what Austin thinks about what he has gone through so far with the experience and where he might go in the future.

Highlights:
+Differences between the divisions
+Don't rule out options
+Always functioning at a high level (regardless of where you're at)
