Chris Matarazzo is an athletic training with Vanderbilt University and works with their baseball team. Austin was down there for a clinical rotation (which unfortunately got cut short) and got to sit down with Chris and talk everything baseball and how to work towards your dream job,.
Chris talks about career progression and being patient as you work through the different phases of your career. Things don’t always happen as quickly as we would like them to but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future. You have to be strategic about how you work to get yourself there.
Another highlight of this episode is how Vanderbilt works through the medical model and how that relationship has worked with athletics. A lot of good information in this episode.
