Spencer Connell is at the time of this published episode officially has completed his DAT, congrats Spencer. When we recorded this episode Spencer was in process and getting close to the end and we discussed his pursuit of the DAT and what benefit the program would have not only to his clinical skills but also his advocacy for the profession.
Beyond that, we discussed Spencer’s work in a couple different industrial settings. This is an area that is definitely up and coming in athletic training and one that as a profession we can have a huge impact on people’s lives and benefit the company that they work for. Spencer is very passionate about advancing the AT profession forward and will be a huge advocate for people looking at the industrial setting.
Lots to learn in this one and a bright outlook to the future. Enjoy.
