Ep. 42: Mark D'Anza-Service in Athletic Training

Mark D’Anza is an athletic trainer who resides in Las Vegas. Mark has had a unique journey up to this point in his career and is currently not working in a “traditional” way in athletic training. Mark has been a full-time secondary school athletic trainer as well spending a lot of time working with USA Wrestling, not only in Las Vegas, but across the country.

Currently Mark is working as a full-time high school teacher as well as doing some adjunct teaching at UNLV. While Mark isn’t in the services side of athletic training anymore he explains how he has shifted his focus to the services side of the profession.  Mark has focused on that through getting involved with AT Government, helping with hosting convention in Las Vegas and more. We spend a lot of time talking about the importance of staying connected to the profession and if you are in services that you are serving. Check it out and enjoy.
