Sam Atkielski was in the first MSAT class at UW-Milwaukee and straight out of the gate was employed at the largest high school in Wisconsin as their sole athletic trainer. A first job right out of school is going to make anyone nervous. In the past, graduate positions allowed for more of a working into your career, coming right out of a MSAT puts you right into the mix.
Sam talks about all the things she learned in year one and how she went through making it a successful year. There are so many things you have to figure out in that first year and Sam give s a lot of fantastic insight in to what she did to make the year successful and how that can help young professionals moving forward.
