Ep. 57: Brittany Backofen-ATs Care

Brittany Backofen is an athletic trainer in the high school setting as well as part of the ATs Care network, specifically in Nevada. Brittany is very passionate about helping out not only her student-athletes but also fellow athletic trainers that might be having a hard time dealing with a situation or just generally need to talk to a colleague.

In this episode we discuss more in depth on what ATs Care is all about and why it is so important to the profession. Beyond that we talk about what stressors and issues many athletic trainers deal with on a regular basis and what is common in ATs Care calls. Brittany also talks about self-care and how important it is to find something to disconnect from work and enjoy life outside.
