Dr. Natasha Denmark is an athletic trainer who is currently not working in a traditional setting and has done a lot of different things in her career and we try and cover it all. Natasha teaches sports medicine at the junior college level, which isn’t going on to be a CAATE accredited program but she describes how this course work can help assist people into the right school route to fulfill their career. We also talk about her work in her dissertation and the way the DEI has played a huge role in her life and she shares her story of coming to the US and it is powerful.
We also talk about her work now in corporate health education. This is a unique position that she has been able to work into and she talks about how the opportunity came to be and how her skills as an AT have helped her excel is this role. Lots of great information to take from this one. Enjoy.
